Hey there Tomies, have you found your new Communities yet?
On Wednesday, we launched one of the biggest updates to Tome ever!
Not only did we make Tome smoother to scroll, we began laying the foundation for our very own book database, and we released a new feature we think will help you find your next five-star read (and maybe even a reading buddy or two)!
How do I find my Communities on Tome?
Use the Community sorting tool- which automatically assigns you to three Communities based on the books you’re reading
Check out our brand new search, which features all of our Communities to add more, or access the ones you’ve been added to automatically
Browse your following feed to see what Communities your friends are yapping in
Keep up with your favorite Tomies with Reading Buddies!
Pick up to eight close friends and get notified when they post on Tome! This is excellent for buddy reads, staying up-to-date with your book bestie, or making sure you don’t miss your favorite creator’s posts
Filter your feed by Reading Buddies to browse their content exclusively
You can filter Book Pages to see what your friends are saying about a book you’re reading together
Find out what everyone’s saying about your latest read with Book Pages!
Make sure you see all of the content from your favorite books
Filter by your posts, those you’re following, everyone, and your Reading Buddies
We’re working on building our own book database, and in doing so, we are consolidating multiple editions into single Book Pages, per written work. That way, you can see every post on Tome about Slewfoot in one place!
This change will help us build a system that allows users to upload missing books!
